Accessibility statement

Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to turn family photos into a film, including people with disabilities and older family members. The app follows Israeli Standard 5568, based on WCAG 2.1 level AA.

What we did

  • A complete Hebrew right-to-left interface, with a heading structure and labels for every field and button.
  • Full keyboard use: skip to content, visible focus, menus and dialogs that close with Escape, and photo cropping with the arrow keys.
  • AA colour contrast, text that scales to 200% without losing content, and layouts from phone to desktop.
  • Status messages (upload, creation, saving) are announced to screen readers, and motion is reduced for people who asked their system for it.
  • Sign in with Google, or with an e-mail and password: the password can be shown while typing, password managers fill it in, and a mistake in the form is said in words next to its field.

What isn't perfect yet

  • The films are made from photos and music and have no narration or audio description. Titles and captions in the film appear as on-screen text.
  • Previews of music and videos rely on the browser's player.
  • The payment window belongs to Paddle, our online reseller, and its accessibility is Paddle's responsibility. If it doesn't work well for you, write to us and we'll help you complete the purchase.
  • If something doesn't work for you, we'd like to hear about it and fix it.
